Full Root-level Access
What does the full root-level access feature entail? What privileges will it bestow you with? How to sign in to your server as root?
Having full root-level access signifies that you'll be able to access and customize every file on a selected server, in addition to all system files, and to change system settings or set up server-side software that may be needed by specific scripts and even offline apps in order to function properly. A server is accessed at the root level through a root user, which has full privileges to do any of the abovementioned things. The root user may also create various other users. For security reasons, you are advised to have one more account for everyday tasks and to use the root account only if you actually need to perform a task on the hosting server. The root-level access attribute will provide you with full control of your server from any kind of location, provided that you know the user credentials.

Full Root-level Access in Dedicated Hosting
You'll have full root-level access to your
dedicated server no matter which package you choose throughout the registration process, as long as the server is provided with cPanel, or with no website hosting Control Panel at all. In each of these three cases, you will be able to change any part of the software environment in any way you find fit, that makes our server plans suitable for resource-demanding applications with specific requirements which cannot be covered if you use a shared website hosting account. The difference between these options is the fact that when you use cPanel you'll have a web-based graphical interface to control many different server-side options and any website content which you generate or upload, whereas when you order the server without a Control Panel, you'll have to do everything through a Secure Shell console or to set up a Control Panel of your liking, provided that it's compatible with the OS that you've selected during the sign up process. With the third Control Panel option which you'll be able to select on the order page - Hepsia, the root access will be limited.
