A: If your present hosting provider can no longer meet the demands of your website, or when you experience continuous network downtime, or if you are made to wait for hours for the client service staff to respond to you, it might be smart to swap your web hosting provider, i.e. to migrate all the files for your web sites together with your databases from your current provider to your new provider. At AJs Web Hosting, we are aware that this can be hard & time–consuming. This is why we’ll accomplish all that for you at no cost!Our proficient technical staff will move your website content from your present provider to us. Our techs have a lot of experience with web site migration and can take care of anything – from a normal WordPress–powered blog or Joomla^™–based website, to a highly complex, custom–built web app.

A: While we cannot give you a precise time interval, because there are many factors, among them the physical size of the files and databases, the physical location of the present host’s server, the complexity of your site and the present workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will give our very best to move your website within 48h, and in some cases – within 24h (in case the website content is not very large).

A: We don’t request any private info. We’ll need, however, the login information for your current hosting account and the name of the web site that you want to move.

A: Before we can start the transfer of your account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us will require that you to disclose more or less the same details you have provided to your previous web host. We’ve also got an extremely rigorous Privacy Policy, which describes how private information is dealt with.

A: Nah. Your site will stay accessible online during the migration. As soon as everything is done on our end, we’ll notify you so that you can examine it and check for problems. If everything’s okay, all you will have to do is change your domain name’s DNS settings.

A: Nah. Aside from your login details for the Control Panel, we do not need anything. We will never touch base with your web hosting provider. They won’t know anything about the transfer either.

A: We support all Linux–driven web hosting platforms. Essentially, if we can obtain access to your Control Panel, we will be able to transfer your site.The only platforms that we do not support are closed–source website creation platforms like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
